Bankroll

Your bankroll is the dedicated pool of money you've allocated for sports betting. It should be:

1. Money you can afford to lose completely 2. Separate from your everyday finances 3. Large enough to weather normal variance

A proper bankroll serves as your betting "inventory." Just as a business needs capital to operate, you need a bankroll to survive losing streaks and capitalize on winning opportunities.

Most professionals recommend never risking more than 1-5% of your bankroll on any single bet.
